Institute for Research on Portuguese-speaking Countries 17th Academic Salon on “one Belt, one Road”


        On the 25th of October 2018, Visiting Professor Carlos Branco from the Institute of International Relations (Portugal), has given a seminar on the              “Strategic Potential of Portuguese-Speaking Countries”. In two consecutive lectures, Professor Carlos Branco presented the different perspectives of                 “national power” and drove all the attendees to several online data basis in which relevant data is available to support research on Portuguese-speaking        Countries.

 

 

        Visiting Professor Branco conducted several in class short exercises, aiming to establish parity in economic and non-economic domains, between  great world powers (including China) and between China and the Portuguese-Speaking Countries. Visiting Professor Branco is a senior researcher at Institute of      International Relations (Portugal) and holds an immense professional and academic experience in international governmental organizations.
