IROPC is a research and resource academic institute aiming to systematically study, teach and publish on：

• Macau economic, trade and cultural platform between China and Portuguese-speaking countries.

• Society and Economy, History, anthropology and cultural heritage of Portuguese-speaking countries.

• Development, Social and Economic changes in Portuguese-speaking countries.

• China diplomatic, economic and cultural exchanges with Portuguese-speaking countries.

• Resource Directory of Chinese firms in Portuguese-speaking countries and from Portuguese-speaking countries in China.

• Gathering academics, local and international researchers throughout projects, conferences, workshops and seminars.

• Publishing a biannual academic journal FinisTerra.

• Offering Master and PhD programs in “Portuguese-speaking countries studies”.

• Hosting and supporting Macau “One Belt, One Road” Center, which is devoted to systematic research of China’s“One Belt, One   Road”Initiative. 

• Collecting Data, Indexes, and academic resource from Portuguese-speaking countries.
