Counsellors from Portuguese-Speaking Countries Visited Our Institute of Research on Portuguese-Speaking Countries



On May 25th, M. Rafael Custodio Marques, the General Consul of Mozambique, D. Sofia Silverio P. P. da Silva, the General Consul of Angola, Dr. Manuel Ricardo da Silva, the General Consulate of Portugal Chancellor, visited our university’s Institute for Research on Portuguese-speaking Countries. Pro-Rector Ip and Professor Ivo met the distinguished guests.

Pro-Rector Ip expressed his welcome and gave a brief introduction to the Institute for Research on Portuguese-speaking Countries and Macau One Belt One Road Research Center. He also extended the wishes that more contacts and cooperation between departments should be made.

Professor Ivo introduced the Phd. and Master programs of Institute for Research on Portuguese-speaking Countries. He explained that the study of Portuguese-speaking Countries belongs to the one of international relations and indicated that the programs were closed to ‘One Belt One Road’ and were popular among students. Students who are willing to enroll will be welcome.
