PhD students from the Institute for Research on Portuguese-Speaking Countries (IROPC) met MacauLink publisher Gonçalo César de Sá and editor Mariana Sá, who presented the main titles of the publishing group, which is one of Macau´s oldest.

Other than economic and business website CLBrief.com, focused on the relations of China and other Asian nations with Portuguese-Speaking Countries, MacauLink has published for over a decade Macao Magazine, for the Government of Macau Special Administrative Region (MSAR). Other titles published include the Macau Forum magazine and recently relaunched Macau News website, focused on MSAR and the Greater Bay Area (GBA).
The MacauLink team was a guest at the class taught by Professor Francisco Leandro, Assistant Dean of IROPC.

Students also learned about social-issues magazine Ariana, published by Mariana Sá, and other special publications, namely general public books about China and the Portuguese-Speaking Countries and the GBA. The session produced lively interaction between all participants, both inside and outside the classroom. One of the attending students is now set to publish an article with Macao Magazine.
